How to Request a Transcript Without a Willamette Username or Student ID

Guides students on how to order official transcripts through Parchment using alternative personal identifiers, redirects account credential inquiries to the Registrar's Office, and provides instructions for requesting unofficial transcripts.

Overview

If you need to order a transcript but cannot log into your Willamette account, do not remember your username, or do not know your Student ID number, you can still request your records.

Official Transcript Requests (Parchment)

You do not need a Willamette username, portal login, or Student ID to order an official transcript. Willamette University utilizes Parchment for secure transcript fulfillment.

To place an order without logging in:

1. Navigate directly to the Willamette Transcripts Page.

2. Select the option to order an official transcript.

3. Create a new, personal account with Parchment using any valid email address.

4. When prompted for identity verification, you can skip the Student ID field. Parchment and the university will verify your identity using the following information:

   • Full Legal Name (including any former names, such as a maiden name, used while attending)

   • Date of Birth

   • Approximate Years of Attendance or Graduation Year

   • The last 4 digits of your Social Security Number (SSN)

Unofficial Transcript Requests

If you specifically require an unofficial transcript, please review the requirements below:

• Unofficial transcripts are free of charge but cannot be delivered via email due to privacy regulations. They are only available for physical mail delivery or in-person pickup.

• Processing time takes 3–5 business days.

How to submit:

1. Download, print, and fill out the form named transcript-request1.pdf.

2. You may leave the ID# field blank. The university will verify your identity using your birth date, former names, and your mandatory handwritten signature.

3. Email the completed form to registrar@willamette.edu or mail it to the Registrar's Office.

Need Help Recovering Your Student ID or Username?

For security and privacy reasons, WITS support staff cannot look up or distribute student IDs or account usernames over the phone or via standard support tickets.

If you strictly need to recover your login credentials or look up your Student ID for purposes other than ordering transcripts, you must contact the Office of the Registrar directly at registrar@willamette.edu for secure identity verification.
